WordPress site: how to show the AI notice (Article 50)
You do not need to wait for an official plugin. A notice next to the chat, plus a register, is enough to start.
Most WordPress chatbots (Tidio, Crisp, HubSpot, ChatGPT embeds) are injected by a theme script or an extension. Article 50 does not change: inform at the first interaction, visibly.
Three concrete steps: attach a notice to the widget (or a page badge as fallback); list the tool in a register; do not write the sentence only on a “Legal notice” page never opened during the chat.
A page builder (Elementor, Divi) does not make the AI obvious. A “ask your question” form wired to a model is still an agent for the visitor.
